Job Summary
Sign Shop Production Operator and Installer responsibilities include supporting the sales team to boost customer satisfaction, preparing substrates for application (cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning), weeding vinyl from computer-cut images, performing QA by reading Work Orders and proofing for errors, finishing tasks such as laminating and mounting, installing signs at customer locations, operating the laminator, and maintaining inventory of media, laminates, and substrates; required skills include a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, use of power tools and a ladder, and being dependable, detail-oriented, motivated, and able to solve problems on site; knowledge of vehicle wrap installation and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. The role is described as part of a fast-paced Sign Shop Production team in the Iowa City area with regular Monday–Friday hours and occasional overtime, offering training, benefits, 401K, paid holidays and vacation, and potential for monthly bonuses after 3 months.
