Job Summary
Follow layouts to place computer-cut vinyl or graphic images on substrates, preparing materials for application through cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning. Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images based on size and complexity, then operate and maintain printers while performing quality assurance by reading work orders and proofing for errors. Execute finishing operations like mounting printed pieces, maintain inventory levels, and clean storage areas. Requires 1-2 years of sign production experience, ability to stand for long periods, and lifting 50+ pounds. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
- Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
- Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
- Ability to use light power equipment
