Job Summary
Follow layouts to place computer-cut vinyl or graphic images on substrates, preparing materials by cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning. Weed excess vinyl from images, operate and maintain printers, and perform quality assurance by reading work orders and proofing for errors. Execute finishing operations like mounting and maintain inventory levels by ordering stock to managers or franchisees. Clean and maintain storage areas while working under pressure to output high-volume, high-quality work.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
- Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
- Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
- Ability to use light power equipment
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred
