Job Summary
Install and produce signs and graphics per Work Orders, including applying computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphics to substrates, prepping surfaces, weeding vinyl, operating printers, laminating and mounting finished pieces, and ensuring quality through pre- and post-production checks. Responsibilities include following layout directions, maintaining inventory and storage, performing offsite sign installations, assessing environments for installation needs, verifying measurements, and collaborating with team members. Ideal candidate has 1-2 years’ sign production experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to stand for extended periods, lift 50+ pounds, operate hand and power tools, and use scissor lifts or bucket trucks when needed; strong problem-solving and communication skills and a willingness to grow within the sign industry.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
- Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics
- Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
- Ability to use light power equipment
- Clean driving record
- Proficiently uses hand and power tools
- Scissor lift and bucket truck experience preferred but not required
