Job Summary
Licensed mental health therapist at Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital delivers psychosocial assessments and plans of care for patients in inpatient and intensive outpatient programs. Responsibilities include evaluating patient data, participating in interdisciplinary treatment teams, completing progress notes and discharge plans, ensuring compliance with treatment plans, arranging for appropriate discharge and follow-up, performing individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, and comprehensive documentation in medical records. Requirements include a Master’s Degree in social work or related field, current Nevada clinical license (LCSW/LCPC/LMFT, etc.) or clinical internship, CPR and CPI within 60 days of hire, and at least one year of inpatient clinical experience. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, caregivers, and other departments, maintaining confidentiality, and adapting to a fast-paced, growing healthcare environment. Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in social work or a related field
- Current Nevada Clinical (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, etc.) license or Clinical Internship required
- CPR obtained within 60 days of hire
- CPI obtained within 60 days of hire
- One (1) year of inpatient clinical work with experience in diagnosis, psychotherapy and assessment based treatment planning
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse populations
