Job Summary
Traveling in-home physician role providing in-home health evaluations to patients across a defined New York coverage area (up to 100% travel). Conduct 45-minute visits including medication/medical history review and physical evaluation using an iPad-based workflow; may require overnight stays, car rentals, or flights. Requires MD/DO with active licenses and ability to obtain multi-state licenses; coverage includes Albany, Binghamton, Buffalo, Elmira, NYC, Plattsburgh, Poughkeepsie, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica, Watertown; sign-on bonus eligible. Full-time position with benefits (health/dental/vision, PTO, 401K, CEU allowance, malpractice coverage) and potential for additional reimbursements through DPS visits. Hours typically around 40 per week; compensation base pay around $175/hour, with total annualized estimate of $364,000 depending on geography and factors. Primary workplace is in patients’ homes; requires flexibility to travel and work in diverse home environments.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Active, unrestricted license in coverage area(s)
- Able to obtain multi-state licenses
- New York State coverage areas include Albany, Binghamton, Buffalo, Elmira, NYC, Plattsburgh, Poughkeepsie, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica, Watertown
- Willingness to travel up to 100%
- In-home physician visits experience (preferred)
