SIGN ON BONUS - $500.00 - Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)

A certified Occupational Therapist (OT) will implement treatment programs to assist pediatric patients with physical, cognitive, sensory and social/emotional disabilities or delays by planning and administering occupational therapy in the home and community. Responsibilities include performing evaluations and interpreting assessment results; developing goals appropriate for the child; creating and implementing occupational therapy treatment plans in conjunction with the physician; assisting pediatric and young adult patients in areas of physical, neurological, cognitive, sensory, feeding, ADLs, and social/emotional development; improving independence through skilled interventions; educating, coaching, and empowering caregivers and families to carry over therapeutic activities into daily routines; coordinating with referral partners to provide services; ensuring continuation of therapeutic plans after discharge by instructing patients and families in home exercise programs; documenting patient care and care coordination in an EMR; maintaining patient confidentiality.
