Job Summary
Physical Therapist Assistant position in pediatric home health, supporting a Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans to help pediatric patients with physical, neurological, cognitive, and social-emotional needs. Responsibilities include evaluating and interpreting assessment results, developing goals with the physician order, creating and implementing therapy plans, and coaching caregivers to carry over activities at home. The role involves coordinating with referral partners (including Early Intervention Colorado) to provide services in accordance with IFSP, documenting care in an EMR, maintaining patient confidentiality, and offering flexible scheduling. Qualifications include Texas State PTA license, current CPR certification, and preferred 1 year of experience. Compensation includes both base pay and a $3,000 sign-on bonus with full-time and part-time opportunities, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing mentorship and training.
