Job Summary
Seeking part-time Sign Language Interpreters for Video Relay Service (VRS) to provide Sign-to-Voice and Voice-to-Sign interpreting services. Successful candidates must demonstrate proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and maintain compliance with relevant licensure and Sorenson standards. Responsibilities include accurately interpreting between ASL and spoken English, completing paperwork promptly, and maintaining a flexible work schedule. Candidates should possess the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enhance interpreting skills through continued education.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL)
- Ability to pass required skills assessment
- High school diploma or GED
- Interpreter certification as required by local regulations
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Regular and predictable attendance

- Associate’s degree
- Bachelor’s degree
