Job Summary
Provide Sign-to-Voice and Voice-to-Sign interpreting services in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities include interpreting between American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English, maintaining compliance with certification requirements, adhering to company standards and policies, completing tasks promptly, and effectively working in a team. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, ability to learn new technologies, and commitment to enhancing interpreting skills.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass required skills assessment
- High school diploma or GED
- Interpreter certification as required by local regulations
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, highly regulated and customer service focused environment
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, tools, and to handle other computer components
- Regular and predictable attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 3 years’ experience working as an interpreter (preferred)
