Job Summary
Precision installation of signs including channel letters, monument signs, interior electrical signs, vinyl graphics, and architectural signage. Site surveys to take measurements, photos, evaluate mounting surfaces, access planning, and electrical considerations. Site work includes prep, removal of existing signage, post-install cleanup, and maintaining a clean, safe job site. Operations require safe use and maintenance of installation tools and equipment. Travel to project sites outside the region occasionally for project work or training. Requires 3–5 years in sign installation or a comparable construction trade; strong carpentry and construction knowledge; mechanical aptitude with tools; field welding a plus; safety-minded and team-oriented. Must have High School Diploma/GED and a clean driving record. Familiarity with bucket trucks, cranes, lifts (certifications a plus) and understanding of sign substrates, installation methods, anchoring systems, foundations, and concrete.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3-5 years in sign installation or comparable construction trade
- clean driving record
- physical ability to work at heights, in all weather, and perform strenuous labor
- strong carpentry and construction knowledge
- mechanical aptitude proficiency with tools
- field welding is a plus
- bucket truck, crane, & lift experience (certifications a plus)
- Understanding of Sign Substrates: installation methods, anchoring systems, foundations, and concrete
