Job Summary
Design, implement, and evolve the enterprise-wide log management platforms and supporting architecture for Danaher's global cybersecurity operations. Provide technical leadership as the Subject Matter Expert for SIEM solutions, driving platform strategy and partnering with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to solve complex challenges. Produce and maintain High-Level and Low-Level Designs, reference architectures, and standards that guide enterprise-wide implementations while ensuring secure, highly available, and maintainable solutions. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Cyber Threat Engineering within the Corporate Information Security team. Candidates must possess 7+ years of experience architecting SIEM solutions using platforms like CrowdStrike, Splunk, and Microsoft Sentinel, along with expertise in log data pipeline platforms such as Cribl and Vector.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience deploying, managing, maintaining, and architecting enterprise SIEM and log management solutions within complex enterprise environments
- Deep hands-on expertise architecting, administering, and optimizing leading SIEM and security operations platforms, including CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto XSIAM, Google SecOps (Chronicle), Elastic, and similar technologies
- Proven experience implementing, integrating, and leveraging enterprise log data pipeline platforms such as Cribl, Databahn, Onum, Bindplane, Vector, and comparable solutions to support scalable security monitoring and analytics
- Demonstrated experience developing solutions and integrations across cloud environments, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), while translating business requirements into technical and architectural solution requirements
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills, including preparation and maintenance of architectural diagrams, logical flow diagrams, operating procedures, use case documentation, and other supporting technical artifacts
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience administering and architecting multi-tenant implementations
- Demonstrated programming or scripting language expertise including but not limited to Python, Bash, PowerShell (Python preferred)
- Demonstrated experience automating deployments using scripts or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies
- Demonstrated experience communicating across levels within an organization from Engineering and Operations team members to Senior Leadership
