Job Summary
Load and unload products from vehicles, verify contents against invoices, and deliver orders on time while complying with all Department of Transportation standards. Operate within legal speed limits, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and accurately report overages, shortages, or damage. Use pallet jacks or forklifts to move goods, maintain constant communication with sales and delivery teams, and resolve customer concerns. Lift and carry products weighing up to 180 lbs in non-temperature controlled environments, including heat, humidity, and inclement weather. Maintain a valid Class A CDL and acceptable driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid Class A CDL in the applicable state
- State minimum auto-liability insurance
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to maintain these minimum administrative driving requirements throughout employment
- Able to down stack and relocate large amounts of product weighing up to 180 lbs throughout the day
- Able to perform greater than average lifting, with some overhead lifting required
- Able to safely operate electric or manual pallet jack and/or forklift
- Able to frequently climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must have specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to judge distance
- Regular, reliable attendance required
Desired Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years of direct experience in a similar position preferred
