Job Summary
JV Sideline Cheer coach at Canton High School responsible for the organization of the sport, inventory of equipment with end-of-season filing, and management of season awards and summaries. Requires coaching or playing experience at high school/college level in the sport, compatible scheduling with the school calendar, and ability to work with parents and children. Duties include organizing the sport, equipment oversight, awards/season summary, with physical requirements such as bending and lifting. Reports to the Assistant Principal of Activities and Athletics. Starts Fall 2026; compensation per Master Agreement Schedule B. Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- experience in high school level coaching or playing at college or university level in sport to which they are applying
- time schedule compatible with high school
- CPR and/or first aide training preferred
- demonstrated ability to work with parents and children
