Job Summary
Conduct domestic helicopter flights in the assigned Sikorsky S-76 under the Pilot-in-Command, managing crew coordination, passenger briefings, seating, and luggage storage. Adhere to duties in the Crew Flight Manual and Flight Deck Handbook while assisting with emergency evacuations. Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate, notifying the Chief Pilot of any impairing conditions. Perform assigned training and other duties as directed. Requires ATP minimums, Commercial Pilot certificate with helicopter and instrument rating, 50 hours IFR time, and valid passport. Full-time rotation at Bridgeport, CT; US work authorization and ability to travel internationally required.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current 1st Class medical certificate
- Must possess a valid passport
- Must have no FAA sanctions within the past 5 years
- Must possess the legal right to work in the United States
- Must have the ability to travel in and out of the US and to all cities/countries where Flexjet serves
- Must possess a working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135, Part 91 Subpart K, and Part 91
- Must possess thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, & other international flight operations regulations
- Must possess strong organizational skills & advanced multi-tasking abilities
- Must possess strong interpersonal, verbal/written and presentation skills
- Must possess computer skills necessary to operate word processing, email, and web-based applications
- Must possess a fanatical attention to detail
- Must have the ability to work in a team atmosphere with a focus on a long-term approach to relationships
- Must present a well-groomed appearance
- Must be able to achieve ATP minimums (written complete and qualify to take the check ride)
Desired Qualifications
- 1,500 hours total time
- Commercial Pilot certificate with rotorcraft/helicopter and instrument rating
- 50 hours IFR time logged
- Bachelor's degree in aviation, Aviation Management, or related field
- Previous experience in Part 135/91K or corporate aircraft
