Job Summary

Conduct domestic helicopter flights in the assigned Sikorsky S-76 for Flexjet owners, maintaining crew coordination and adhering to the Crew Flight Manual and Flight Deck Handbook. Greets passengers, assists with seating and luggage storage, performs passenger briefings, and supports emergency evacuations while reporting any medical conditions that may impair flight capability. Functionally responsible to the Pilot-in-Command on all flights and reportable to the Fleet Chief Pilot for duty assignments and training. Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate and possess a valid passport.

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess a current 1st Class medical certificate
  • Must possess a valid passport
  • Must have no FAA sanctions within the past 5 years
  • Must possess the legal right to work in the United States
  • Must have the ability to travel in and out of the US and to all cities/countries where Flexjet serves
  • Must be able to achieve ATP minimums (written complete and qualify to take the check ride)
  • Must meet the recency experience requirement defined by CFR part 61
  • Must have a Commercial Pilot certificate with rotorcraft/helicopter and instrument rating
  • Must have 50 hours IFR time logged
  • Must have a working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135, Part 91 Subpart K, and Part 91
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, & other international flight operations regulations
  • Must have strong organizational skills & advanced multi-tasking abilities
  • Must have strong interpersonal, verbal/written and presentation skills
  • Must have computer skills necessary to operate word processing, email, and web-based applications
  • Must possess a fanatical attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to work in a team atmosphere with a focus on a long-term approach to relationships
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance

Desired Qualifications

  • 1,500 hours total time
  • Quality of flight time matters (special consideration for military experience, PIC time, turbine time, and S76 and NYC flight experience)
  • Bachelor's degree in aviation, Aviation Management, or related field
  • Previous experience in Part 135/91K or corporate aircraft
