Job Summary
Monitor vehicles and routes on dispatch monitors, quickly reacting to changes, rerouting, and delays while ensuring on-time performance. Ensure dispatch programs are accurate by updating vehicle and driver assignments, managing Samsara data for check-ins and geo-fencing, and maintaining WIFI uptime. Proactively communicate with drivers, supervisors, and clients via phone, email, and push notifications to address issues, late departures, and service inquiries. Create and pull reports from TripShot and Samsara to measure success and recommend route changes. Be the primary point of contact for dispatch phones and assist with lost and found items. Support driver safety by completing training and identifying fitness-for-duty concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Previous dispatch experience or 1+ years of customer service experience required
- 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented w/strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Prioritization while multi-tasking under pressure and within short time constraints
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as organizational and interpersonal abilities
- Able to work independently and professionally with all levels of the organization and partner with teams cross-functionally
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with TripShot, Samsara or other dispatching software preferred
