Job Summary
Drive tractor trailers containing various products to and from remote dispatch sites, completing all functions safely and in accordance with Department of Transportation regulations. Safely drive trucks to and from remote dispatch sites, performing all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections. May be called upon to perform duties of Backhaul or Delivery Driver. Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions required. Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid CDL Class A and doubles endorsement, possessing 6 months commercial driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- 6 months commercial driving experience required
- Doubles endorsement required
- Must be comfortable working overnight
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months driving with doubles endorsements preferred
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
