Job Summary
Shuttle Driver will deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return empty trailers, maintain delivery time windows, and communicate issues to the supervisor. Role requires a valid Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements, DOT certification, at least 1 year of DOT driving experience, a clean driving record, ability to operate 28–48 ft trailers, ability to lift over 50 lbs, pass drug/physical screenings, and a High School Diploma or GED. The driver must adhere to safety standards, represent the company professionally, and work in Texas (Lufkin) in-person, with benefits including health/dental/vision, retirement plans, and more.
Required Qualifications
- Good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in past 3 years
- Pass required Drug and Physical Screening
- At least 1 year of DOT driving experience
- Valid state issued Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements
- DOT certified
- Ability to operate 28 ft., 36 ft., and 48 ft. trailers with tandem axle tractors
- High School Diploma or GED – work experience may substitute education
- Able to perform repetitive lift over 50lbs
- Able to climb in and out of truck and trailer
- Must read numbers and product descriptions
- No prohibitions against DOT certification beyond stated requirements
