Job Summary
Operate the shuttle defensively and responsibly, transporting team members between designated pick-up and drop-off locations while adhering to established routes, schedules, and resort procedures. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tires, lights, fluids, and safety equipment, maintaining the vehicle in a clean, fueled, and presentation-ready condition. Monitor traffic, road, and weather conditions to select safe alternate routes, communicating delays or service interruptions promptly. Welcome passengers warmly, provide courteous assistance, and coordinate proactively with Security, Human Resources, and resort operations regarding schedules and special needs. Maintain accurate transportation records including mileage, passenger counts, fuel use, and incident reports. Work a varied schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and split shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous professional driving, transportation, hospitality, or customer service experience
- Knowledge of Santa Barbara-area roads, traffic patterns, and alternate routes
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
