Job Summary
Drive shuttle buses transporting customers to and from facilities, greeting passengers and assisting with loading and unloading. Operate the vehicle safely and efficiently while conducting pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure sound operating conditions. Monitor vehicle status, traffic, and weather, reporting malfunctions, accidents, or safety issues to dispatch or supervisors. Communicate route changes, arrivals, and delays via two-way radio to coordinate pickups and handle emerging customer or vehicle problems. Treat all customers courteously and professionally while resolving issues in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- CDL
- 3 Years Drivers License
- Valid driver's license (at least 3 years)
- A, B or C comercial drivers license with a passenger endorsements
- DOT medical card
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently
- Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
- Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed
- Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service: 1 year+
- Experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle: 1 year+
