Job Summary
Conduct proper and safe operation of shuttle buses while performing vehicle inspections, maintaining interior cleanliness, fueling buses, and logging trip counts. Courteously assist customers by answering questions, directing them to the Facility Manager for further help, and reporting accidents, safety hazards, or policy violations. Communicate debris, water, or oil spills to the garage office and substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized. Maintain a valid state driver's license, an acceptable DMV record, and a neat uniform at all times. Work every scheduled day on time, with potential requirements for 3rd shift or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Acceptable DMV record
- Availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company
- Ability to add, subtract, two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Ability to stand
- Ability to walk
- Ability to use hands to handle cash and equipment
- Ability to sit
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Neat and clean appearance
- Complete uniform
