Job Summary
Shuttle Driver responsible for safe, timely transport of general commodities between warehouses using a diesel tractor/trailer; requires a Class A CDL and adherence to DOT/OSHA regulations. Duties include delivering freight on scheduled routes, shuttling trailers between facilities, assisting with loading/unloading, tailgating freight onto customer docks, maintaining daily logs and trip reports, performing full vehicle inspections, fueling, and complying with company policies. Travel is expected to be approximately 75% with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy of documentation, and professional conduct on the road.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Class A tractor trailer driving experience
- Class A CDL required
- Meet FMCSA and company requirements
- Pass Background and Drug Screening
- Travel approximately 75% or greater
- Maintain driver logs and comply with DOT/OSHA regulations
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ability to load/unload and tailgate freight to customer docks
