Job Summary
Clean and maintain public areas, deep clean assigned spaces, and set up lobby functions including coffee service and nightly events. Deliver service items to guest rooms, drive the shuttle van when needed, and handle luggage assistance at check-in. Shampoo carpets and furniture, clean restrooms every two hours, and ensure all equipment is stored properly. Take direction from management, approach encounters with a service-oriented manner, and complete the daily assignment checklist. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and comply with safety and emergency procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 or older
- Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable State
- Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record)
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 20 pounds frequently or constantly
- Must be able to stand during the entire shift
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Must be available for weekends
- Must be available for PM shift including weekends
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be able to maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Must be able to maintain proper uniform and name tag when working
- Must be able to comply with Hotel standards and regulations
- Must be able to practice safe work habits
- Must be able to handle all requests for luggage assistance
- Must be able to have knowledge of and assist in all emergency procedures
- Must be able to maintain hotel equipment in proper working order
- Must be able to maintain storage of hotel equipment in the proper area
- Must be able to complete special projects as assigned
- Must be able to attend meetings as required
- Must be able to perform any other duties as requested
- Must be able to drive shuttle van when needed
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
