Job Summary
Pick up and drop off passengers at designated transit locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Safely operate shuttle vehicles, perform daily inspections and cleaning, and maintain accurate records of maintenance and fuel consumption. Assist passengers with luggage, boarding, and mobility challenges, including operating wheelchair lifts. Collaborate with dispatchers to ensure efficient operations and promptly report any incidents or issues. Drive efficiently to conserve fuel and monitor passenger capacity to optimize service. Maintain a clean, safe environment and foster a positive team atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years' experience driving a commercial vehicle
- 1+ years supervisory experience
- Clean driving record and adherence to all safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented demeanor
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- Strong sense of accountability and reliability
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement
- Up-to-date medical certification
