Job Summary
Drive a Tractor Trailer (Class A) or Straight truck to transport products to various drop-off locations on the 5pm–7am shift, adhering to DOT regulations and company safety rules. Based in Maple Heights, OH. Responsibilities include unloading and delivering products, obtaining customer signatures, handling cash/collections where required, completing DOT logs, pre-/post-trip procedures, and maintaining vehicle and warehouse sanitation. Must possess a Class A CDL with a clean driving record, MEC, 2+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience, high school diploma/GED, English proficiency, basic math, and pass drug and background checks; previous food-service experience preferred. NRCME certification is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 24 years of age or older
- Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a “clean” driving record (including no DUI in the last 3 years and no multiple DUIs within the last 7 years)
- Must possess and be able to present a valid non-expired interstate Medical Examiner’s Certificate Card (MEC)
- Must be self-certified as a non-excepted interstate driver with the state licensing agency that issued the CDL
- Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to safety regulations
- Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Must pass a pre-employment Drug screen and Background check
- Must be registered and certified in the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME), and the examiner’s certification date must precede the physical date.
