Job Summary
Operate a passenger shuttle safely and efficiently, following specific regularly scheduled routes to transport hospital employees from an off-site parking lot to the facility. Treat all passengers, customers, and other persons in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner while assisting with boarding and exiting. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keep the vehicle interior neat and orderly, and transmit and receive communications over a two-way radio system. Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record, and complete log sheets and trip sheets. Requires the ability to sit for up to eight hours per shift.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills - maintains a warm, friendly and professional demeanor when working with other employees, patients and visitors.
- Must be at least 23 years old for insurance purposes.
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively both verbally and on paper
- Must be able to safely and efficiently operate a passenger van.
- Must be able to sit for up to eight (8) hours per shift.
- Ability to complete log sheets and trip sheets.
