Job Summary
Assist residents with boarding and alighting using lifts, ambulation, or physical transfers. Complete bus trip logs, maintain interior and exterior cleanliness, and fill out daily inspection logs before each trip. Organize and coordinate routes to ensure safe, efficient, and timely service while maintaining a positive attitude. This part-time role includes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday shifts from 9am-5:30pm (Friday ends at 3:30pm) with pay of $16-18 per hour. Daily pay is available.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years driving a shuttle, bus, or similar vehicle
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evening, weekend, and holiday hours
- Ability to be timely, patient, and accommodating
- Ability to maintain a bus schedule
- Familiar with the local area
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to review detailed documents
- Ability to read computer screens
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
