Job Summary
The Shuttle Driver transports guests to and from the hotel, hospital, or casino in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner using safe driving practices; assists guests with luggage during arrival and departure; maintains vehicle activity and maintenance logs; must learn and remember pickup/destination points and be knowledgeable about property outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions. Strong emphasis on courteous guest interactions, accurate communication, and adherence to HIPAA and client information security; may operate vehicles seating up to 15 passengers and perform wheelchair-related duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must pass MVR (driving record) and drug screen
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Wheelchair Safety Training course (as applicable)
- Current Medical Examiners Certificate
- Maintain license with DOT endorsements and periodic physicals as applicable
- 1 to 3 months related experience or training
- Ability to read/write basic English
- Ability to count/money and understand time (24-hour/military) systems
