Job Summary
Manage shutdown work requests, oversee SAP backlogs, and plan work orders to maximize process up time. Coordinate contractor requirements, schedule equipment and personnel, and develop preventive maintenance plans in accordance with plant procedures. Champion site safety by conducting Life Critical Audits, investigating unsafe conditions, and ensuring compliance with industrial hygiene and environmental policies. Prepare cost estimates for labor and materials, optimize expenditures, and communicate critical priorities to management for resource allocation. Develop shutdown calendars, facilitate daily review meetings, and support quality objectives through internal and external audits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- five years of chemical process maintenance experience
- general knowledge of plant systems, processes, and procedures
- Associate's degree
- three years of maintenance or project planning experience
- Basic working knowledge of the Materials Management and Production Planning modules in SAP
- Proficiency in Excel and Word Processing software (Microsoft Office, including Access)
- Willingness to learn Microsoft Project
