Shredder Operator

Job Summary
Operate the shredder to maintain production at optimal rates with minimal downtime; communicate with the Shredder Operations Supervisor regarding repairs and maintenance; ensure compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental standards; possess knowledge of machines, tools, materials, production processes, quality control, and efficiency techniques; install, align, and lock blades, hoses, belts, and related parts; perform general cleanup and report equipment deficiencies for maintenance or repair; provide backup support in the yard and assist as needed; maintain housekeeping in the shredding area; ensure material suitability and adherence to size requirements; comply with internal controls and communicate issues upward; work in variable weather with required PPE; exercise safety and operational discipline to prevent accidents and maximize safety and efficiency.
Additional Requirements
