Job Summary
Shred-It Route Driver responsible for on-site/off-site document destruction, including loading/unloading the delivery vehicle, securing cargo, and ensuring accuracy of consoles/containers; performs pre/post-trip checks, maintains DOT logs where applicable, and services accounts using a handheld device with barcode-tracked locations. The role involves route management to service clients’ confidential material promptly and securely, providing responsive customer service, and complying with safety and regulatory requirements. Requires experience driving box trucks and a valid driver’s license; high school diploma or GED preferred. Shift is Monday-Friday with some Saturdays, starting early in the morning; compensation is paid hourly and benefits are offered.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of Experience, preferably in driving Box Trucks and route management
- Current, personal driver’s license with an excellent driving record
