Job Summary
Lead the full production lifecycle for two weekly live shows and the podcast My Price is My Life, overseeing pitch development, scripting, recording, post-production, and publishing. Shape the editorial vision, manage episode calendars, and identify, vet, and book compelling guests aligned with show themes. Write host copy, episode outlines, and promotional materials while coordinating with editors, sound designers, and marketing personnel. Conduct research for interviews, maintain audio quality and pacing, and monitor metrics to refine content. Ensure legal and ethical standards are met, lead team meetings, and serve as the primary point of contact.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a showrunner, podcast producer, or senior audio storyteller
- Strong background in journalism, narrative podcasting, or documentary storytelling
- Excellent editorial judgment and story development skills
- Skilled in scripting, outlining, and guiding narrative structure
- Ability to manage multiple projects and hit tight deadlines
- Comfortable engaging with controversial or sensitive topics with professionalism
- Excellent interpersonal skills for guest booking and team collaboration
- Deep understanding of podcast and media trends
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
