Job Summary
Showroom Sales Specialist at Dal-Tile drives customer engagement and sales through interior design guidance, product expertise, and meticulous follow-up. Responsibilities include facilitating tile and stone selections, logging client visits and preferences, communicating with the team, pursuing new business with builders and residential designers, maintaining showroom merchandising and samples, coordinating with suppliers, planning showroom tours and industry events, and supporting sales closures. Requires a four-year degree or equivalent experience, strong sales and design competencies, proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Evening and weekend hours, including Saturdays, are required.
Required Qualifications
- A four-year degree in a related field, four years of related experience, or a combination of a two-year degree with two years of related experience
- Competencies: Sales/Customer engagement/Customer service, Design/sketching/reading blueprints/color coordination/interior design trends/customer buying habits/creative thinking
- Computer skills – MS Office, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint – Customer management tools a plus
- Excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills
