Job Summary
Showroom Consultants guide homeowners, builders, and designers through product selections and deliver a world-class, design-focused showroom experience. You will own the consultative sales process end-to-end, building strong customer relationships, applying detailed product knowledge, quoting and recommending solutions that fit the customer’s needs and project budget, and providing ongoing support after the sale. Responsibilities include working with customers to sell a wide range of products (appliances, high-end fixtures, lighting, etc.), responding to inquiries with pricing, inventory and delivery information, greeting guests, preparing quotations and submittals, assisting customers by appointment and walk-ins with suggestive sales techniques, and continuously improving sales skills and product knowledge. This is an uncapped commission-eligible role with total compensation estimated at $60,000 to $90,000 annually. Pre-employment drug and background screening required. Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in plumbing, appliances, and/or lighting products preferred
- 1-3 years of sales experience required
- 1–3 years of customer-facing customer service experience strongly preferred
- Problem solving, leadership, listening and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to engage in a consultative sales approach to recommend solutions for varying customer needs
