Job Summary
Conduct active sales prospecting through outside calls and industry networking to cultivate high-end sales experiences for interior designers, decorators, and architects. Manage client relationships by greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and closing sales while ensuring specifications are accurately transferred to order systems. Support the showroom team by maintaining floor displays, handling inventory, and resolving client complaints. Track sales volume, manage transactions, and assist with daily maintenance and catalog updates to achieve brand integrity and surpass sales goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong and proven sales experience
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Organization, accuracy and memory skills
- Ability to manage money
- Basic office computer skills
- Above average typing skills
- Knowledge of a POS system
- Must be able to work in noisy environments
- Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 10 lbs.
- On occasion up to 25 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Higher education
- A furniture and/or design background
- Knowledge of a POS system
