Job Summary
Build and develop a high-performing team of Associates within a people-first culture by recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and coaching staff to utilize Lovesac selling processes. Guide customers from initial interest through completed transactions while managing quotes, closing sales, and maintaining post-purchase relationships. Ensure the showroom remains visually aligned with brand standards and manage daily operations including opening/closing, scheduling, inventory, point-of-sale transactions, and marketing promotions. Champion company policies to maintain operational consistency and safety, analyze data to drive behaviors against key performance indicators, and build a culture of accountability for sales goals and customer service standards. Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be prepared to travel to local stores, third-party vendors, and occasional company events.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High-School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a retail environment
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support including demonstrating products, assisting customers and utilizing internal CRM systems to enhance customer experience and drive future outreach
- Support Lovesac's omni-channel customer experience by being flexible and able to assist in-person at your home store, local stores and third-party vendors, as well as remote customer service shifts
- Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to local stores, third-party vendors and occasional meetings including our annual company event using various forms of transportation
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions, handling sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy and ensuring the comfort and safety of persons and property
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner
- Must be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position or be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor
- This position routinely requires the following actions; bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, crawling, climbing
