Job Summary
Lead sales and customer experience by actively selling, managing the quote pipeline, and personally closing business while coaching the team on product knowledge and brand tours. Own P&L performance through disciplined execution, drive long-term growth by building genuine client relationships, and run daily operations including scheduling, merchandising, and inventory. Cultivate a high-performing team by recruiting, developing talent, and resolving conflicts, while maintaining brand standards and safety policies on the floor. Work during high-traffic periods including weekends and holidays, travel to local stores and vendors as required, and perform physical tasks such as moving and assembling furniture up to 75 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a retail environment
- Must regularly work during high-traffic and peak selling periods, including weekends, holidays, and nights
- Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support including demonstrating products, assisting customers and utilizing internal CRM systems
- Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to local stores, third-party vendors and occasional meetings including our annual company event
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions, handling sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy and ensuring the comfort and safety of persons and property
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift
- Must be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position and be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor
- This position regularly requires the following actions: bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, stooping, crawling, and climbing
