Job Summary
Short-term substitute teacher for upper school History covering Aug 19–Sept 18, 2026, including middle and high school core History classes and the daily Chambers session. Responsibilities include delivering lessons per plans, adhering to school policies, maintaining classroom decorum, keeping a gradebook, and communicating with parents as needed. Must hold a Bachelor's degree in history or a related field, be available weekdays for the entire period, and successfully complete required background checks. After completion, hire may enter Ridgeview's regular substitute pool as a Tier 1 substitute, with compensation at $100 per half day (up to four hours) and $200 per full day (4+ hours).
