Job Summary
Face-to-face counseling for military service members and families (individual, couples, family, and children) across assignments including embedded with a unit, supporting families, or school settings. Flexible PRN schedule with Mission Ready Reserve MFLC model; no insurance or progress notes, intuitive reporting tools, and license-renewal reimbursement. Responsibilities include counseling, referrals, and presenting on social-emotional development; build rapport with service members, spouses, and children across varied environments (military installations, schools, CDC settings); travel between indoor and outdoor locations and adapt to deployments, relocations, and frequent moves. Requirements include a master’s-level degree in behavioral health, an independent license (LCSW/MFT/LPCC/Psychologist), U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain necessary background clearances.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD)
- Valid independent license in mental health field from any US state or territory (LCSW, MFT, LPCC, Psychologist)
- U.S. citizen
- Ability to pass basic background check and CNACI/NACI clearance
- Must hold licensure in good standing
