Job Summary
Provide personalized care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility for clients in their homes. Develop positive relationships with clients and families while collaborating with the care team to ensure needs are met. Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry best practices. Shifts are short, lasting 2-3 hours in the mornings or evenings.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Connecticut
- Previous experience in home care or a related field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills
