Job Summary
As a Short Order Cook at Denny's, you will be responsible for cooking entire meals simultaneously and managing multiple tickets while maintaining strong attention to timing and accuracy. This role includes preparing and cooking menu items across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, operating kitchen equipment efficiently, and following safety and sanitation standards. A previous cooking experience is strongly preferred, along with the ability to multitask and knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a short order cook, line cook, grill cook, or restaurant cook strongly preferred
- Ability to multitask and manage full meal prep across multiple tickets
- Knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and cooking techniques
