Job Summary
Conduct primary support and case management for individuals with mental illness under direct supervision, assisting them to live independently in the community while providing specialty area knowledge to the treatment team. Drive clients to appointments and group sessions using a company vehicle, maintaining a valid driver's license and insurance. Serve as a member of the San Mateo Mobile Crisis Response Team, delivering crisis services to the community and reducing unnecessary law enforcement involvement and hospitalizations. Work short-hour shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduation or G.E.D. equivalent
- three (3) years of direct services in mental health or community services
- Associate's degree
- two (2) years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Social Services
- at least 1 year of experience in the area of specialty served (e.g. Benefits, Educational, Employment, etc.)
- Valid and current driver's license
- personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
- Shifts: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Days: Friday & Saturday
