Shopify Operations Analyst

Job Summary
Operations Support Specialist responsible for end-to-end Shopify backend operations to maintain catalog integrity and order accuracy. Manages product lifecycle in Shopify, including uploads, description updates, image assets, tagging, collections, and SEO metadata; oversees customer and wholesale profiles, location settings, and multi-warehouse considerations. Configures and tests promotions and product bundles, monitors and resolves order synchronization issues between Shopify and ERP/fulfillment systems, and cleans up data to optimize performance. Identifies automation opportunities (e.g., Shopify Flow), creates and updates SOPs, and communicates status, risks, and recommendations to the client. Requires proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years hands-on experience managing Shopify/Shopify Plus backend operations (Products, Customers, Discounts, and Settings)
- Exceptional attention to detail; experience handling large CSV imports/exports and data mapping
- Ability to identify gaps in current processes and propose scalable solutions
- Advanced (C2) English Level; written and spoken
- Ability to multitask, prioritize in a fast-paced call center environment
- Ability to work independently and typically only need basic direction to get started on new tasks or assignments
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Actively leads catalog-related sessions and acts as an escalation point
- Great problem-solving aptitude. Expected to implement process improvements and drive innovation
