Job Summary
Conduct front-end development for eCommerce systems on the Shopify platform, collaborating with architects and developers to execute technical design and customize the site using approved technologies. Gather specifications from clients and internal stakeholders to deliver desired UX/UI experiences while providing subject matter expertise during site development. Monitor and optimize system performance, maintain code quality through unit testing, and document code appropriately for maintainability. Develop specific Shopify+ requirements including Scripts and Flows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 3-4 years of experience in technical development roles
- At least one year of hands-on experience doing front-end development and setup with Shopify+, including knowledge of Plus features like Scripts and Flows
- Good Experience using CSS2 and CSS3 - SaSS, JavaScript, jQuery and HTML 5
- Experience in GIT, Source tree
- Understanding of Agile and Waterfall development practices
- Understanding of e-commerce ecosystem and multiple platforms
Desired Qualifications
- JS frameworks like Angular JS , Node Js, BootStrap would be a plus.
