Job Summary
Develop, customize, and maintain the Shopify plus store while designing visually appealing interfaces and layouts. Make minor backend changes using Liquid code and manage third-party integrations and apps within the ecosystem. Collaborate with marketing and content teams to implement new features, optimize the store for performance, scalability, and SEO, and troubleshoot technical issues. Perform regular updates, conduct UX/UI enhancements, and handle ad-hoc design tasks including web and graphic design. Stay updated with latest trends and adapt to Marketplacer integration as needed. Work from the Chennai office in a fast-paced environment, balancing development with design responsibilities when development demand fluctuates.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Shopify Designer with development abilities
- Strong portfolio of successful Shopify projects
- Proficiency in HTML
- Proficiency in CSS
- Proficiency in JavaScript
- Proficiency in Liquid
- Experience with Shopify's API
- Experience with third-party apps
- Strong understanding of responsive web design principles
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- Familiarity with SEO optimization techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills
