Maintain shop cleanliness, run for parts, and assist with driver transportation while performing basic mechanical repairs like hose and brake replacements. Operate torches for cutting support, execute preventative maintenance on power units, and help with tractor detailing. Ensure regular attendance and punctuality while adhering to safety protocols and following company drug-free policies. This entry-level role supports technician efficiency and overall shop productivity within the Page Trucking Team.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass an MVR report
- Basic computer skills
- Forklift operating experience or ability to learn
- Ability to use metal cutting tools
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to multitask
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work independently
- Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and comply with the company's drug-free workplace policy
- Must be able to lift/move at least 50lbs
- Walking, sitting, standing, bending, and lifting
- Continually moving during work hours
