Job Summary
Diagnose and repair electric motors, transmissions, drive axles, hydraulic systems, brake systems, steering systems, and electrical systems to ensure equipment runs per manufacturer specifications. Rebuild components, perform diagnostic troubleshooting and failure analysis, and conduct routine operational maintenance. Properly block, chock, and chain equipment while maintaining parts supplies and work area cleanliness. Record all maintenance and repair work in necessary paperwork. Complete assigned technical training and participate in safety meetings. Maintain a safe working environment and perform basic welding as needed. High school diploma required with 3+ years in forklift repair; salary negotiable with full benefits. Monday to Friday schedule with some overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Own tools
- 3+ years' experience in forklift repair or related industry
- Ability to read precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges

- Thorough knowledge of all equipment & operations that apply to the branch
- Excellent mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge and problem solving skills
