Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance on mobile heavy equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing Tier IV engine complaints, hydraulic systems, and basic DC electrical systems. Diagnose issues across various equipment types while adhering to safety standards and lifting requirements up to 60 lbs. Work indoors and outdoors in potentially loud environments to support customer projects and minimize downtime. Required Qualifications
- Technical or Associates in Diesel Engine Repair or Automotive Technician Diploma
- Knowledge of DC electrical troubleshooting process and operation
- Knowledge of basic hydraulic system structure, function, and operation
- Knowledge of basic diesel engine operation and aftertreatment structure, function and operation
- Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently
- Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative
- Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner
- Push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Lift/carry up to 60 lbs
- Lift bulky objects
- Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, supine overhead reaching, crawling, high steps, fingering/grasping
- Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor
- Noise level may be loud at times
