Job Summary
Shop Technician needed to support aerospace operations by preparing turbine engine components for specialized coating applications. Responsibilities include cleaning, masking, surface preparation, handling of parts, loading/unloading ovens, operating a blast booth or similar equipment, maintaining records, and ensuring parts meet quality standards prior to coating. Key competencies include attention to detail, quality, teamwork, effective communication, and adherence to safety rules and FAA regulations. Equipment and processes involve abrasive surface preparation, masking of areas, and machinery maintenance. Requires ability to follow instructions, maintain confidentiality, and work with modern office procedures; travel to U.S. site locations is occasional.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
